01 - 2 large cucumbers
→ Cheese Mixture
02 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tablespoons sour cream
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
05 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
06 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
→ Garnish
07 - 1 tablespoon red bell pepper, finely diced (optional)
08 - Extra dill sprigs
# Steps:
01 - Wash and slice cucumbers lengthwise into thin, uniform slices approximately 1/8 inch thick.
02 - Use a 1.2 to 1.6-inch diameter star-shaped cutter to cut stars from cucumber slices. Lay stars on paper towel to remove excess moisture.
03 - In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
04 - Transfer cheese mixture into a piping bag fitted with a small star tip. Pipe a dollop onto each cucumber star.
05 - Decorate each star with a small piece of red bell pepper and a dill sprig. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to one hour.
