Ingredients
- Fresh Fruit: 1 cup strawberries hulled and halved, 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup pineapple cut into small triangles, 1 cup kiwi peeled and sliced, 1 cup red grapes halved, 1 cup green melon balled or cubed, 1 cup blackberries, 1 banana sliced (optional add just before serving)
- Decorative & Dipping Elements: 1/2 cup mini marshmallows, 1/4 cup white chocolate chips, 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles, 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (for dipping optional)
- Garnish: Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Step 1:
- On a large rectangular or round board outline a triangle to represent a cake slice using fruit or a small piece of parchment paper as a guide.
- Step 2:
- Arrange the pineapple pieces along the wide end of the triangle to mimic the cake base.
- Step 3:
- Layer rows of different fruits such as strawberries kiwi and blueberries above the pineapple to mimic cake layers alternating colors and textures for visual appeal.
- Step 4:
- Use blackberries and grapes along one edge to create the frosting border.
- Step 5:
- Place mini marshmallows along the top edge of the slice to resemble piped frosting.
- Step 6:
- Sprinkle white chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles over the frosting for a festive effect.
- Step 7:
- Add a small row of banana slices near the tip of the triangle for extra detail add just before serving to prevent browning.
- Step 8:
- Optional Place a small bowl of vanilla Greek yogurt at the side for dipping.
- Step 9:
