08 - 0.25 cup dry white wine or fish stock

# Steps:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish large enough to arrange cod fillets in a single layer.
02 - Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels and season lightly with freshly ground black pepper. Arrange fillets evenly in the prepared baking dish.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers, melted butter, parsley, paprika, and lemon zest. Stir until crumbs are uniformly moistened.
04 - Evenly sprinkle the cracker mixture over each cod fillet, pressing gently to adhere.
05 - Pour dry white wine or fish stock around the fillets in the baking dish carefully, avoiding wetting the cracker topping.
06 - Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18 to 20 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
