# Steps:

01 - In a medium saucepan, combine the cooked rice, milk, sugar, and ground cinnamon.
02 - Place over medium heat and stir frequently until the mixture reaches a gentle simmer.
03 - Reduce heat to low and cook uncovered, stirring often, for 15 to 20 minutes until thickened to desired consistency.
04 - During the last two minutes of cooking, stir in vanilla extract, salt, and butter if using.
05 - Remove from heat and let cool briefly; the mixture will continue to thicken as it cools.
06 - Serve warm or chilled, garnished with additional ground cinnamon.
